JOB SUMMARY

The HVAC/R Service Dispatcher will maintain Service Technicians daily schedules and dispatch the technicians for PM’s and service calls as needed. Follow-up with technicians and customers to ensure completion and/or schedule follow-up visit. Maintain customer database with current information. Provide clear and concise communication with department managers, employees, and customers, including keeping customers appraised as to company schedule and requested lead-times. NOTE: Remotely working from home is not available for this job position

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES   

  1. Schedule & create work orders for preventative maintenance.
  2. Schedule & create work orders for service repairs & projects.
  3. Drive PM completions to improve Intech PM Compliance
  4. Dispatch and manage the workload of assigned technicians.
  5. Utilize and maximize Service Software (Viewpoint and S2000)
  6. Receive and respond to all client inquiries.
  7. Monitor customer issues to ensure problems are resolved in a timely manner with best solution possible.
  8. Complete daily time reports for all technicians, verifying hours and expenses.
  9. Provide support to other Service Team members to ensure optimum customer support / service.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

  1. All Service Calls are answered and scheduled within one hour of receipt.
  2. Calls are returned to clients within 30 minutes of receipt.
  3. Dispatch schedule is out to the field by 3:00 each day.
  4. Scheduling and directing technicians are logistically maximized.
  5. PM Compliance – 90% of PM’s are performed and completed in their scheduled month.

Title: Service Department Billing Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY

The HVAC/R Billing Coordinator oversees the billing operations of the Service Department. They coordinate with the Field and the Sales Department to ensure the accuracy of invoices, follow up with clients regarding outstanding payments, and resolve any billing related issues. In addition, provide as needed, secondary support for coordination of field activities of the service division. This will include Secondary Dispatch, manage all aspects of the Service Agreement base, answering the telephone as required, addressing customer inquiries and concerns with the necessary urgency, assist in scheduling field personnel for planned preventive maintenance contracts, service repairs & replacements. NOTE: Remotely working from home is not available for this job position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES   

  1. Performing billing and collection operations on a daily basis
  2. Coordinating with others as necessary to ensure the accuracy of billing information
  3. Reviewing all T&M work orders to capture all billable costs
  4. Corresponding with clients, answering questions, and resolving issues
  5. Maintaining and Tracking Certified Payroll requirements
  6. Ensuring all invoices are prepared and sent out
  7. Following up on outstanding payments
  8. Creating and managing client accounts
  9. Maintaining notes and records on customer requirements or concerns
  10. Reconciling account discrepancies
  11. Processing Conditional and Unconditional waivers; Certificates of Insurance
  12. Act as liaison between service and the AR/Contracts Manager
  13. Provide support to other service team members to ensure optimum customer support / service

  • Generate 3D models and shop drawings in CAD Fabrication and/or Revit for field operations, using contract documents as guideline.
  • Track and resolve coordination issues through Navisworks
  • Set up job folders, clean up backgrounds, create sheets, collect and edit details
  • Plot prepare and check drawings and other documents
  • Generate fixture Rough-in and fixture layout details (mech piping/plumbing)
  • Generate equipment models/blocks and details
  • Incorporate answered RFI’s and changes into model
  • When required: responsible for attending meetings with peer contractors and project designers to resolve coordination conflicts between trades.
  • Decision making (choosing alternate routes or component), and prioritizing (deciding which tasks need addressed first)

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience working in CAD fabrication in the last 12 months and good working knowledge of this program
  • As a minimum, the candidate must have 1 year of formal AutoCAD/ Revit training for piping from a technical school or college. Or
  • 2 years on the job training/experience with a mechanical contractor, which will require submission of references and job duties.
  • Good working knowledge of AutoCAD 2019 and AutoCad Fabrication 2019
  • Experience working with Revit 2019
  • Good working Knowledge of Bluebeam Revu
  • Ability to manage electronic CAD files
  • Experience with reading construction drawings

Title: Controls Programmer/Integration Specialist

We are actively seeking a qualified DDC / Programmer / System Integrator to join our team of professionals. The right candidate will have experience using the Johnson Controls FX, Honeywell, Johnson Controls Metasys, and Tridium-Niagara platforms.

This individual will utilize software tools, and their knowledge of HVAC & Building Automation Systems to develop applications and instructions for DDC controllers and graphical front-end user interfaces.

The BAS programmer will work alongside Project Managers, Service Technicians, Field Installers, and the end user to fulfill the project requirements.

The ideal candidate will understand computers & networking on various levels (depending on experience). They must be able download Applications into equipment specific controllers and perform point to point verification of proper operation.

The BAS Programmer must be able to startup & commission, troubleshoot, modify, and make repairs to the system applications and the equipment being controlled or monitored by the controller. This role will additionally have the need for the BAS programmer to integrate with 3rd party equipment and controllers that already come with interfaces that have been “factory mounted & programmed”.

Job Requirements:

  • 3-5 years DDC programming experience with 3 or more years specialized experience in a BACnet, Tridium, and system integration.
  • Thorough knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical control systems including programming experience for HVAC and BAS systems is required.
  • Auto CAD or Visio experience is a must.
  • Strong computer related skills network and systems experience with broad knowledge of concepts, principles, practices and procedures in systems development.
  • Knowledge of programming and writing operational logic.
  • Ability to review, understand and analyze all types of mechanical drawings, engineered control drawings, specifications, wiring and sequences.
  • IT networking skills are a plus.
  • Develop system graphic displays according to project specifications.
  • The right candidate will have excellent technical skills and outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • This person must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

As a Building Automation Sales Executive, you will be responsible for managing your annual sales goals, building new business opportunities, maintaining and expanding existing relationships, on new construction, and owner direct and special projects. You must have the ability to quickly budget, propose and estimate multiple new construction opportunities for building control systems as well as quick response Retrofits. 

 

Qualified individuals must have a strong sales background, above average communication skills- verbal and written, and the understanding of Building Automation Systems, Graphics, Technologies, Mechanical Processes and Equipment. Must be able to demonstrate successful partnerships with multiple contracting tiers (Owner Direct, GC, Mech., Elec.).

  • Establish, grow and maintain contracting tier relationships to increase sales opportunities.
  • Partner with and qualify new construction leads with our Design-Build Dept.
  • Develop quotes, scopes of work, budgets and best designs for each opportunity.
  • Maintain CRM database and funnel development.
  • Attain and exceed sales, margin and funnel targets.
  • Demonstrate timely follow-up on quotes and wins/losses.
  • Ensure more than our “fair-share” of new project wins.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE

  • Bachelor’s degree, Technical degree, or a minimum of 5 years proven, successful track record of experience. 
  • Competent understanding of building controls, lighting solutions, energy efficiency solutions, mechanical and HVAC systems.
  • Experience with Honeywell and JCI Systems a plus.
  • Experience in the design, layout and budgeting of large complex building projects.
  • Understanding of estimating and project scheduling.
  • Proven ability to take a project from concept to completion.
  • Ability to manage technical sales processes and systems.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills are a must.
  • Must have a strong work ethic and be able to be part of a team.
