Philosophy:

We understand our clients. That’s why delivering quality commercial and Industrial HVAC, plumbing and process piping for new construction, remodels and tenant improvements isn’t just our business... It’s our commitment..

History:

June 1993 – Intech Mechanical was founded by Rick Chowdry as a side business. He started with two small jobs for the Roseville Unified School District, and a local home remodel. Next he completed a $40,000 plumbing remodel of the Juvenile Hall in Sacramento.

1995 – Rick took the business to the next level, and began bidding projects full time. Chris Mitchell joined the team for estimating, project management, purchasing and field installation, while Julie Chowdry took on administrative management. Growth prompted the move to a (1,250 sq. ft.) North Highlands facility (seemingly enormous then).

1996 – Projects such as the Federal Building on Cottage Way, Sacramento, CA expanded Intech to a crew of fifteen.

1998 – The North Highlands facility (now 3,750 sq. ft.) was inadequate, leading to the purchase of the current headquarters (11,250 sq. ft. facility) in Roseville, CA.

2000 – Business continued to grow and Mike Friesen was brought on board as Senior Project Manager. The workforce now had forty plumbers and pipe fitters in the field and Intech was becoming a company to watch.

2002 – Intech Mechanical, Inc. establishes a new division: Full–service Dry–side HVAC.

2003 – Intech signs labor agreements with Local 447 Plumber and Pipefitters Union and Local 162 Sheetmetal Workers Union.

2007 – Full service HVAC service and maintenance division is added to the company’s services.

Today – With a team of eighty in the field (at peak season) and an office staff of fifteen, Intech continues to grow and serve the region by “doing what's right”.
